What is the VIA?

The Village Improvement Association (VIA) is an all-volunteer organization made up of Irvington residents, striving to make their village an even better place to live.

Our mission is to work hard and have fun serving the community and offering an enriched quality of life for our residents, friends, neighbors, and visitors in Irvington, Virginia. Our goal is to bring the community together through annual events such as our Farmers Markets, Car Boot Sales, USAF Concerts, Parades, Halloween Trunk or Treat, and the amazing Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot.

The Village Improvement Association has been around for many decades and has volunteered tirelessly to improve the overall beauty, ambiance, character, and cultural vitality of Irvington. Throughout the Village of Irvington, we have functioned as a resource for volunteerism in support of the VIA mission and goals.

ALL the VIA Events are organized and managed by the dedicated volunteers of the Village Improvement Association. We’d like to extend a special thank you to all the vendors, guests, sponsors, and volunteers from our local community who help make the many Irvington VIA Events such a great success, year after year. Thank you so much!
